Others have explained how "HD digital antenna" = "UHF antenna" (more
or less), in the US (where Jim Morton, the original poster, is
located). In addition, let me note that in the US, unlike in the UK,
digital television has supported high definition from the start; see
<URL:http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/users/348736#348736>.
Americans have had over-the-air high-definition television for the
majority of this decade.
