I've just rebuilt my MythTV PC using Ubuntu 9.04 64 bit & MythTV,
upgraded to the most recent version of the fixes branch with a Silicon
Dust HD Homerun tuner. I'm experiencing 2 problems that may be related;
When I go to watch live TV, it tries to display, then says, "Error was
encountered while displaying video" & then goes back to the menu. If I
run the front end from a terminal window, I see this;

If I set it up to record a TV show, it appears to do this, but if I
attempt to copy or open recording from a Windows PC accessing it via
Mythweb, I get "006_20090531110000.mpg is an empty file". Can anyone
offer any insight into this & a possible solution?
TIA
Peter
