In my case, it still does all the recording and actually MythTv is 
perfect, it's MythWeb that does not display the information, I find myth 
web is much nicer to see whats on TV (cause you can view it while 
watching TV) and do you bookings from there.

I did adjust all the timeouts, mainly so that it waited longer for the 
EIT data, but that does not help my problem because the data is coming 
in OK, MythWeb just cannot see it.

Clearly, in my case the problem is with MythWeb or a corrupt database, 
so I'll investigate that next.

I'll post my findings as I find them.
