[mythtv-users] seektable repair weirdness

I'm having problems with where new recordings have seektable problems.
I don't know the source and don't know where to look. That's one
problem.

To temporarily fix problems on the recordings that exhibit this
problem, I've been following the wiki advice at:
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Repairing_the_Seektable
of:
mythtranscode --mpeg2 --buildindex --allkeys --showprogress --infile <filepath>

Worked handy-dandy on the first video, but the second it made viewing
the recording in myth worse. One could view the recording before (just
couldn't FF/RW), but now I can't even view the video.
 I receive the following msg over and over:

2009-07-27 18:05:22.822 NVP: Prebuffer wait timed out 10 times.

The file plays ok on mplayer.

Any ideas?
