I noticed they did that to all mythtv ebuilds.  It really took me by
surprise when I went to make an ebuild for a newer svn version.  I was
glad I still had copies of my older ones that I could use as a guild
to making my own svn based ebuilds for newer releases.

I think they made the change because many were griping about svn fetch
failures when installing the ebuilds.  I never understood that...I've
never seen that in 2+ years of installing mythtv via ebuilds more
times than I can count.
