[mythtv-users] Controlling DirecTV H23

OK, I have an H23 and went out to get a serial->USB connector--realizing I
don't have a serial port on my board. Whoops.
Should I get a serial port to plug in to this thing? Or can I use any of the
other (numerous) ports. I have an ASUS A-N78HD. I don't want to use an IR
Blaster if I can avoid it.
