You didn't look at that card and see two ports did you?  Those two plugs 
on the card are 4-channels each, meaning the card has 2400MB/s of disk 
bandwidth.  The limiting factor is going to be the x4 (1000MB/s) slot, 
however this is for a NAS box, so the network interface is going to 
limit everything to a tenth that anyway.
