Hi!
I have this issue almost a year, I'm living with it, but I want do get
rid of...
First I did thought that I didn't have sound on HDMI channel for some hw
reason, since a colleague have it fine at first time when did install
mythtv.
I tried some suggestions by updating asound.conf, nevertheless I had no
success.
After some investigation I did found that my colleague did the
installation having only hdmi connected, when I used VGA plus common
jack out.
So, in my case system is giving sound through the preferred out channel,
I have to select on mythtv if I want to have on different out, when I
need SPDIF simultaneous to HDMI and or with regular jack.
Do anyone knows about examples for having sound on both channels through
asound.conf editing?
Thanks all!
