As promised, I'm reporting back that disabling gnome-screensaver and
using version 19626 works much better, but I just hit the delayed
keypresses again tonight while watching Scrubs in HD.  Oddly this time
it didn't happen until more than half way through (usually happens in
the beginning).  The keypresses came through something like 30 seconds
later.

I'm upgrading to 19789 as I type and will run with that for a while.
Are there any debug switches I can turn on in these builds to get some
more logs to help diagnose what is going on - or would I have to build
from source to do that?
