weird, I remember a while back I asked one of the "Genius's" if they
had digital audio output and he told me no, just analog stereo...

that's fine, any receiver capable of decoding those formats from
bitstream are capable of multichannel PCM as well, plus I'm willing to
wait for the software to catch up for that, being that it would be
more of a "awesome, my laptop can double as a BluRay player".
