Please disregard.  I'm guessing the cats accidently pounced on the new
keyboard one too many times which caused only shows categorized as
"newsmagazine" to show up.  I didn't even know this show categorization
feature existed!

Perhaps a GUI element that shows when you are filtering by category would be
a good idea here as the filtering is persistent?
