which is a "Negative" LCD with lots of icons, not a VFD. It=
's actually
a graphic LCD capable of displaying about two lines of 20 characters
(more could be supported with a proportional font)<br>
<br>The contrast can be adjusted with software contrast controls. I
don't recall if you can dim the backlight (I haven't used mine in a=
few
months now.) You can turn it on/off though. <br><br>IMHO it'=

herboard to put in that case - so I'll
experiment with mine a little bit over the next week or two. Perhaps
adding another polarizer will help some, maybe it will make it worse --
but it won't hurt to experiment a little bit. ;-) <br=
