Yes, South Bay, a bit outside of the San Jose area.
That list is where I got the 30% hit rate I think I might make with
the HDHR. We all record a lot of cable channels - FX, Comedy Central,
SciFi, etc., that I am guess aren't likely to show up unencrypted, or
at least that's my guess.

I wasn't so much wondering about the network bandwidth side, although
that's an issue also. It was more that I have a couple of analog SD
TV's with Pundit-R frontends which are required to use an older ATI
proprietary driver so that I can get output on S-Video. I'm not sure
how they might react if I throw HD material at them and then ask them
to do anything with it on the fly. They are not very powerful machines
and the fan already runs pretty loud after 10 minutes of doing SD
material. Seems like HD could be too much.
Again, I likely just get the HDHR and see how it works out.
