Ah, so it's probably a problem with a kernel driver. I have also
noticed that this only happens with the analog input on my pcHDTV 5500
card. When viewing ATSC broadcasts, it seems to work fine. I recently
installed the latest version of the v4l-dvb through mercurial. This was
due to an attempt to get the audio capture through the Connexant CX8801
sound chip inside the pcHDTV card working. I'm assuming this is the
culprit now.

I had read some forum threads suggesting that there were some bugs when
switching the inputs on this card, and so I installed the latest.
Anyone know if there's new bugs with CPU usage on these latest drivers?

Thanks,
- Jim C.
