[mythtv-users] EIT suddenly not filling EPG

Hi list,

I'm located in Europe/Austria and have my MythTV-backend setup with 2 
digital SAT receiver cards.
Therefore I only get the EPG filled via the EIT received from the 
satellite.
This works usually fine - more or less - which means: it often does not 
fill in all programs of a channel, and even worse: since 3 days I have 
nearly zero entries in a lot of channels which worked previously.

So my question: how can I check or debug why the EIT is not used any 
longer ?
Can  I force mythtv to somehow restart this gathering ?
Or more generally: how is it done inside mythtv in the case of getting 
this information only from EIT - is it received and filled in 
continuously or only on a periodic basis ?
