[mythtv-users] unable to play hd recordings

I have installed the svn version of mythtv on my backend and on my frontend.
i have it recording fine from my new hauppauge hdpvr.
but if i try to play my recorded file, it wont open.
i get these errors on console:

am i missing something that i need to play this file type? i'm using ubuntu
8.04, do i need something from the repositories?
