I believe I have done what you suggested in the setup I added the /dev/dvd1
in the Media Monitor with the same results. It is irrelevant if the Media
Monitor is checked or unchecked...

It will prompt me for a dvd by opening the tray even though there is a disk
in the tray and if I close it in a timely matter it will still error, any
other ideas?
