I was thinking that between the usb 2.0 and the gigabit ethernet you
could hook up o a variety of storage and tuners. Or even though it is
not a supported config you could just run it tunerless. I envisioned
running a minimalistic backend that would power on/off a couple of
slave BE/FE systems. Maybe it is worth considering making a tunerless
backend a supported config. It is starting to make more sense from a
power perspective. You can just have the small low power device that
is on 24/7 and mainly responsible for keeping an eye on the scheduling
and task management of the rest of the machines in you mythtv network.
