These 2 reports are part of a series of stepwise tests which the
frontend goes through in .../mythtv/libs/libmythtv/vsync.cpp. These are
not really error messages as such. You will see different output
depending upon which video chip driver you are using, as they
synchronize in different ways. You can stop obsessing.
As to exactly WHAT these tests *do*, I have no idea. I cannot follow the
code sufficiently well to understand it at all! Kudos to the coders who
understand this stuff!
