Myth shouldn't be compiled with libx264 at all.  There's a reason it's
not a listed configure option-- it's in the configure file as part of
the file imported from ffmpeg.  Enabling it won't do anything for you
but give you another thing to make Myth's (well, actually,
libavcodec's) compile break.
