[mythtv-users] Core 2 Duo iMac, terrible performance as front end

Woof!

I've noticed that on a Mac mini (1.66 Ghz Intel Core Duo, Intel GMA 950 graphics) that I get good (minor tearing) HD playback only if the resolution of the display is set to 1280x720.  Anything higher produces stutter at best, and total choppiness at worst.

Even though my Sony TV can handle 1920x1080 just fine, reducing the resolution seems to make mythfrontend much happier.
