[mythtv-users] Way to turn off VGA output on command line?

The problem I had with DPMS is that sending key events is not the same thing
as what DPMS listens for. It listens across the actual bus of the
keyboard/mouse. I guess you could make a "wake up" key on your remote that
simply forces an xset command. But I myself would take issue to that,
especially when reading things like news articles (but now that I think
about it, I shouldn't be doing that to my poor Pioneer Kuro, as I will sort
of risk burn in if I leave the mythnews UI up too long).
Maybe I'm not clear on what you're trying to do.
