[mythtv-users] DVB-T audio output center channel only

This weekend I picked up a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1600 from Circuit City
($70!). I followed the install instructions from
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Hauppauge_HVR-1600 and the card is installed and
working. The only problem I am having is that the audio is only coming out
of the center channel even though my receiver states that the audio stream
is "Dolby Digital 3/2.1". This leads to the background sounds coming out
very strong, and the voices being muffled. I've noticed this on several
channels. I tested my setup using "speaker-test -c6 -t wav" and the output
comes out of all speakers correctly.

It looks like the audio is not being properly encoded, I don't see very many
(or any) settings for the dvb driver. Are there any setting controls for
this card? Is anyone else having this issue? I'm not even sure where to
start troubleshooting this problem.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Dave
