[mythtv-users] Lirc messages spewing to /var/log/messages!! HELP

Well, most of the time it is in the basement with all lights off, im
not sure if last night lights were on or not.  Ill have to do a test
when i get home.  If this is the case, i might need to get creative or
take out my compact flor.  The odd thing is that I have had the room
set up exactly the same for the past 2 years and never seen this
before.

I checked right now, when i know the lights are off, and its not doing it.
Also, why does it come across as lirc_serial?
