[mythtv-users] Why cant we make a STB?

You know, that Myka box someone posted about (myka.tv) looks like it might
have what we need. At least for the basics. I would like to integrate the
Myth streaming protocol and commskip, but they do provide various APIs and
an open source layer for all the media playback. I'm not fond of the model
they use that requires thier website though. Does anyone have more details
on it? I'm considering ordering the developer box to see if I can get
something going on it. It looks like a Mac Mini with a decent video chip
that can play about the same things as the PopcornHour.
As we would be using them as frontends, no need for a big hard drive, so
users could get the cheapest model and be good to go. And the torrent stuff
and anything else they come up with is available should one want to use it.
