[mythtv-users] nuvexport and h264 encoding causes BE shutdown

I have a combined BE/FE running MythTV-0.21 from atrpms.  When I used
nuvexport to convert an HD broadcast to h264 encoding using the
"Export to MP4 (iPod)" , the whole machine powers off after 40 minutes
or so.  The only thing I am doing differently from the default
settings is that I am maintaining the resolution of the original
recording at 1920x1088.  I am trying to generate h264 encoding
recordings to playback later; on a laptop PC that's not connected to
the network.

There doesn't appear to be any unusual messages in the
x264_2pass.log.temp file.  The last few lines look like this:

I have no idea where to start to look for problems.

Operating System - CentOS 5.2 (64-bit); CPU is an Athlon X2 5000 with 2GB RAM.

Any ideas?
