Despite having just purchased a 8400GS I couldn't resist looking up
the 8600GT at Newegg. There are only five listed; two 512MB, three
256MB, none fanless, all double the price of my 512MB 8400GS, and only
two sold under brand names I've heard of before (Chaintech, PNY). Is
the 8600GT a discontinued model?
