Thanks Ron... that's just the sort of feedback I am looking for.  I'll
keep an eye out for your updated patches.  I knew there was a setting
for the "restart from where you left off" behavior, but haven't played
with it yet.  I just figured I'd start by asking "what else am I in
for?" in preparation for the cutover.

Of course, that is now all on hold, as the audio has mysteriously
stopped working.
