Hi there,

I've scanned through the archives without a definitive answer - I hope
someone can assist me.

I installed a master backend server a while ago based on a Nova 500T
tuner card. It's been working a treat (with a couple of
laptop-frontends) and I've recently taken the plunge and bought a media
PC to install in my living room. I initially got it running as a
frontend only, and it was working as expected. I then installed a
PVR-350 card in the new PC and connected it via S-video to my Sky DVB-S
STB. It tool a little fiddling, but my existing master backend now sees
it (for example, when looking in the 'backend status' in MythWeb, I see
an addtional controller on a 'remote' backend). I've also been able to
schedule recordings on the new backend.

The only outstanding item is to be able to access live TV on the new
backend via my existing Frontends (the two laptops). If I select the
'Watch TV' option on either of the laptops, the only channels available
are the original DVB-T channels on the master-backend. In contrast, if
I select 'Watch TV' on the new media combined frontend/backend PC, the
only channel available is the one I created to represent the S-video
input. I've tried the 'C' and 'Y' keystrokes on all my frontends to no
avail - am I missing a vital point here?

For reference, I'm running Ubuntu Karmic Koala on all the machines with
the latest distro version of Myth.

Cheers in advance for any help,
Chris
