To do losseless commercial cutting of any recording, I added the
following job script to my user jobs.  It does the lossless
transcoding, cuting the commercials, and then deposit the file into my
videos directory (you can remove that last step if you like).

Its been a while, but I believe you have to go into the backend setup
in order to add a user job.  Then, from your watch recordings screen,
just highlight the recording, press "I" and run this job from the "Job
Options".
