...actually a lot of cars do have individual settings these days.

Although in that case it's a convenience thing rather than a security feature.

This could be a handy thing in MythTV but it would probably be non-trivial
to implement. Having a "per user" or "user tag" view of the recordings could
be convenient in paring down what's displayed.

Of course it might be a bother to reset the viewing filters when someone else
enters the room and not everyone in the house may be comfortable with the 
interface.

The current "change group view" dialog box in 0.22 is not something I would 
expect any of my "users" to be able to deal with.
