Yes, its in the works. I have the hardware, as well as full source code to the kernel driver and userspace interface library. The version provided in Ubuntu 8.04 (as referenced in that post) is outdated crap, doesn't work with any modern kernel versions or on a 64-bit kernel. What I've got does, but its tied up waiting on a formal public GPL driver, LGPL library release by the folks who hold the copyright on the code (you do the math). Any day now, supposedly... But I've heard that before... I've only done a tiny amount of work on mythtv itself to start adding support, been tied up with other things, and not really wanting to put a whole lot of time into this until the code is truly released.
