[mythtv-users] DVD Playback problems on AspireRevo with VDPAU

I have an Acer AspireRevo (NVidia Ion / Intel Atom system) running
MythBuntu 9.10.  I use VDPAU and playback of HD recordings is
excellent.

But, I recently tried playing some DVD rips via the MythVideo internal
player and the performance was quite poor.   I got very bad lip sync
and jumpy playback.  Has anyone else seen this?
