[mythtv-users] Remote Trouble works partial in mythtv and fully in xbmc

Greetings,

i got myself a pair of Asus remotes  see picture to identify

Problem is that i do not understand how to make them work properly, the
arrow keys and select works, but there is no escape, so i can exit watching
tv.

Mythtv is 0.22 i build myself, but i used the mythbuntu control center to
set up the remote, i can see that it changes the lirc files, for mythtv and
the other media applications, but the remote does not work better nor worse.


For starters could someone help me identify the remote? and even better
provide me with an lirc conf for it?

I did try to play around with irrecord, but that just results in the
following output

irrecord: could not get file information for /dev/lirc
irrecord: default_init(): No such file or directory
irrecord: could not init hardware (lircd running ? --> close it, check
permissions)
