Subject: [mythtv-users] MythTV won't connect to mythlcdserver
Hi everyone,
I've configured my LCDd daemon and lcdproc correctly.
The only thing I need to get running now is the myth-part, but for some reason mythtv won't connect to its own mythlcdserver!
This is the debug output of mythlcdserver:
2009-12-04 14:52:10.570 LCDProcClient: checking connections
2009-12-04 14:52:16.310 Got data on select

2009-12-04 14:52:16.310 Construct FD_SET
2009-12-04 14:52:16.310 Waiting on select..
2009-12-04 14:52:20.570 LCDProcClient: checking connections
2009-12-04 14:52:30.570 LCDProcClient: checking connections
In between these "checking connections", mythtv throws these errors, from 1 to 10:
2009-12-04 14:52:21.242 Connecting to lcd server: localhost:6545 (try 10 of 10)
I'm not really sure what the problem is. I haven't found a lot of information on mythlcdserver
Met vriendelijke groeten,

If you don't have phpMyAdmin installed it's probaly easier just to use mysql. The following should work :-
mysql -u mythtv -p
<enter password>
use mythconverg;
insert into settings (value,data,hostname) values ('LCDServerHost', '127.0.0.1', null); _______________________________________________
