Why don't you use your 1360x768/60Hz modeline for everything, but
configure MythTV to use 1280x720/50Hz ?

In Setup->Appearance check the option allowing you to use different
resolution between playback and GUI.
Set the default GUI to use 1280x720 @ 50Hz
