When passive EIT is enabled, data is only collected during a recording
(scheduled or LiveTV). Active EIT will tune to a mux and automatically
add grab data even when not recording, but this ties up the DVB card
which may not be what you want.

If you fire up a LiveTV session on a channel that is on the same
multiplex as your radio channels (e.g. BBC Four for the BBC radio
channels) do you see data start to appear?

When using passive EIT collection one must ensure that sufficient
recordings are made to enable the data to be collected whilst
recording. You might want to enable active EIT in mythtv-setup (if
this is not already enabled) if you always want EIT data to be
collected.

Finally, check the health of the database to ensure that all EIT
related tables are healthy.
