Indeed. And there's a general feeling that most of them should be
allowed to die. If someone wishes to rescue them and maintain them
themselves, they are of course welcome.

Terra is perfectly usable, and looks great. As trunk is for
development and not the average user, the target audience for trunk
ostensibly contains the group of people interested in developing new
themes. There are at least three MythUI themes under development for
.22. With .21 and before, people complained about the lack of UI
bling. With the forthcoming .22, which isn't even *out* yet, people
are bitching about the lack of available themes. You just can't win
with some people. If it's that big an issue for you, feel free to
create a theme, plenty of time left to get one done. All it takes is
a modicum of originality and some hard work. As to forward-porting,
backporting, sideporting, or any other porting of the old themes, I
personally am not satisfied piggybacking on the work of others. Those
themes were written within the constraints of a UI that no longer
exists. The hard work making them look as great as they did given the
circumstances is notable, but their respective authors have expressed
their wish to see them gone, and to move on to themes which push the
new paradigm.
