Hi Ben,

I map HDHomerun channels to channel numbers that are the same as
Comcasts plus a ".5" MythTV lets you assign any number to a channel ou
want, its the XMLTVID that determines the schedule associated with a
channel. You can make these changes by using "Watch TV" and hitting 'e'
while watching. This will show a screen that allows you to edit the
current channel number, name and XMLTVID.

So channel 806 on Comcast would be channel 806.5 if received by the
HDHomerun.

Mapping the HDHomerun to slightly different channel numbers than
Comcasts makes debugging easier when Comcast eventually remaps some of
the clear QAM channels and the ones who have programmed stop working.
They do this at least once a year in my experience.

Comcast does not provide mapping between their real QAM channels like
25-1 to their virtual channels 806 except within their set top boxes. So
you have to remap the channels yourself when ever they move them.

I've also had Firewire working, but found that it was only about 80%
reliable on Comcast and have since installed an HD-PVR which works 99.9%

JSB.
