From my reading of Mike's reply, he completely misunderstood the problem, as I
pointed out. His offered solution may be correct, however, but it still leaves
the unwary myth user having to inspect two different end times for a given movie
and make adjustments accordingly.
I put +5 start and end padding on all my recordings. I can't remember *ever*
checking the start or end times of any program I've recorded. That's what I run
myth for, to figure those out.

It's a bug. It might be an SD bug, not a myth bug, but it's definitely a bug.
Although, in the days when computers were rows of telephone boxes, I have heard
such things described as "different results". YMMV.
