If you are building a couple of front ends, it may be worth waiting a
couple of months for some of the ION machines to come out. There are
supposedly a couple dozen (according to nvidia) ION based netbooks and
small desktops in the pipes for this summer. They will all be based on
the 9400M chipset and should have good support for VDPAU, and they
will be really small, quiet, and priced well. Here is a thread
