I have the HD-PVR and love it! I use it with Digital Cable but it would
work just as well with any set top box.
The only 'pain' I had is having to make my own packages for SVN.
Although some are/were posted for Mythbuntu there were dependency issues
and rather then force install, I fixed the packages and recompiled for
my own use.
SVN has other quirks that you may have issues with to so if you aren't
familiar with linux and your system, you might be overly challenged to
do this.
