I don't think this was done on purpose. In a lot of companies people have
lines like that at the end of their signatures (mine included, though this
isn't being sent from my work e-mail account). I see that Brandon's e-mail
is from a GMail account, but that still doesn't mean that there isn't a
similar situation with him and needing (or just wanting to have) a
disclosure like that. It was probably just appended automatically, not out
of spite or to cause a stir.
