That would *attract* our cat...so I think the solution may be 
cat-dependent. ;)

We've had some luck training our cat to stay off the kitchen table by 
squirting her with water every time we see her up there, but squirting 
water around your computer probably isn't a good idea, unless you have 
really good aim.  She also hates the sound of jingling keys (I don't 
know why), so jingling keys at her works well as a "punishment."  The 
idea here is to associate being up there with something the cat hates.

Alternatively, you could place some kind of large knick-knack on top of 
the system, something the cat can't move.  Fasten it down with 
double-stick tape if necessary.
