[mythtv-users] About h264

I've tried those patches (even agains a SVN snapshot from today) but
with no luck.

I re-stream everything with VLC to udp - and mythtv can pick up the
channel (I'm still unable to get mythtv to read from a http stream) -
but playback is really choppy.

I've noticed mythtv does NOT use the CPU very much - only about 5-6% -
so the CPU is not the bottleneck.

I have tried making a recording of the IPTV stream with mythtv - and
playback inside mythtv looks like LiveTV... really choppy. I've then
tried playing the same mpeg file in mplayer (file found in
/mnt/store/1002_20080910210120.mpg) - and mplayer can play that file
just fine! Audio is fully in sync - and the video is really smooth...

So the input file is defently working fine - and mythtv is storing the
file correctly to the harddisk... But mythv is unable to play back the
file.
