Is this just a frontend? How's performance? Does it handle
playback with the OSD/subtitles ok?

I was thinking of trying the M6000, after reading that the
hardware mpeg2 support means little from the CPU, but then
a friend with a M10000 based system was seeing jerkiness
with the OSD up. Admittelly, his system is a combined
frontend/backend, and he has just 256M of ram in it.
