Well, install MythTV as usual, duh.

Other than that, you may need to figure out what needs to go into 
modprobe.conf for your DVB-S card. Either gather that information from 
docs and howtos for your card, or, hopefully the OS can recognize the 
card for you and configure the drivers - in that case, get a small 
hard-drive temporarily in your system, physically install the DVB-S 
card, then install F8 on that hard-drive and see what happens in 
/etc/modprobe.conf and /etc/modprobe.d/* and /etc/sysconfig/modules/* 
and then replicate that stuff on your existing F8 instance.

I can't think of anything else that needs to be done.

BTW, which DVB-S card are you going to use?
I may take this step myself, with Mythbuntu 8.10 (when it gets released, 
in a week or so) and the Hauppauge WinTV-Nova-S-Plus card (which I've 
heard works fine on Linux/MythTV).
