[mythtv-users] laggy playback

Hello

Im new to myth and linux en gerenal, be adviced :)

I've got some divx material.
This lags noticeable while playing back, or more accurately perhaps;
stutters.
Some of them, not all.
Using VLC doesnt seem to help.
This material played back fine on same hardware when it was plain ubuntu
7.04/7.10/8.04 with VLC, no problem

Hardware
P4 3.0Ghz
2G ram
geforce 7800GS
1TB WD harddrive, hdparm -t = 1041.42MB/sec

One other thing though, the mouse is unbeliveable laggy to ... really really
really bad .. very weird, fresh batteries and all still the same. Am i
looking at some kinda conflict here ?

Ideas? =)
