While my symptoms seem to be as described here (can record live TV, but not
from a schedule) deleting everything and redoing it does not seem to have
had an effect. The recording schedules still do not show up. Also, I just
noticed that when I go to setup a recording schedule in mythfrontend and I
hit "Preview" it says something to the effect that the recording schedules
will not be affected.

The only thing that I can see wrong in the mythbackend.log is this:
2008-10-11 06:05:10.998 MythSocket(8a13d0:-1): writeStringList: Error,
socket went unconnected.
Everything else seems to be connecting properly.
Thanks,
Dave
