You have to make sure hardware can handle that. That is much easier in
a small home network. However at work I would have a lot of work to
make sure all of my gigabit equipment was jumbo frames compatible so I
accept 60MB/s file transfers from windows to linux using samba and
faster transfers between linux raid servers..
